It is a blessing to have a growing congregation and children who desire to be a part of the body of Christ, so four times a year we take a Sunday to celebrate the gifts God has blessed our congregation with. On Family Sundays, we invite our younger members to serve by handing out bulletins, leading worship and by collecting the offering.
On July 5th there will be no nursery so that all members, young and old, can come together and celebrate the gift of each other, wiggles and all! We will have our regular worship bags available as well as younger children's worship bags to help accommodate younger members. If your children or teens are interested in helping with greeting, offering, or leading worship, please reach out to Percy Rolleston or Gianna Rakes for more information.
Summer Nursery Classes!
As another school year comes to an end, we are so excited for all our 1st graders who will be heading into 2nd in August! Starting June 7th, Nursery during the service will be for children ages baby to kindergarten completed.
Since our Pre-K and Kindergarten class is combined for the summer, we do suggest that all children who just turned 4, or will be starting Pre-K in the Fall, should stay in our 2-3 year old class for the summer.
Vacation Sunday School!
Vacation Sunday School (aka VSS) starts back on Sunday, July 12th at 9am! Join us as we finish out the second half of our Minor Prophets study through August 2nd. Classes are for children ages babies to 6th grade, and all 7th-12th grade youth are invited to help with classes, games, or craft rotations at VSS. We will be studying:
July 12th: Micah
July 19th: Amos
July 26th: Hosea
August 2nd: Malachi
