Restoring roofs
With generous donations, the Lord allowed us in early February to purchase roofing materials for three churches damaged by Hurricane Melissa. Repairs are currently underway for Cataboo and Vineyard Churches and plans are underway to help with repairs to Sellington Baptist as well.
Pray for our Team
A team from New City Fellowship and First Presbyterian Church will serve alongside our Jamaican brothers and sisters, March 7-14. Our goal is to share the love of Christ and bring gospel encouragement to the church people and their neighbors. One project we will tackle is helping restore the roof of a widow, Mrs. Henrietta Samms. Mrs. Samms has lived in her home since 1977 before the hurricane took her roof and destroyed most of her possessions.
See below a brief video of Pastor Sylvan James, Mrs. Samms and another dear lady, Vioris Braham, who lost her entire house in the storm.
