Thankful to the Lord
A successful trip
Our team of six men, four from First Presbyterian Church and two of from New City Fellowship, traveled to Western Jamaica the first week of March. With the help of a few local men in the Vineyard district, just outside Black River, we were able to put the entire roof on widow Henrietta Samm's home in less than a week. She is a faithful member of Vineyard Baptist Church where her late husband served for many years as a deacon.
We enjoyed worshiping together with our Jamican brothers and sisters in a combined service on Sunday where three churches came together. We also enjoyed fellowship after the service with a delicious meal that was provided by several ladies of the church. Please see a brief video update below.
Thank you for prayers and financial support to make this possible. We have a team of eight adults preparing to serve in the same area in just a few weeks (May 2-9).
